She recently arrived at the Humane Society after being removed from a property by the RCMP. She is currently being housed in foster care as we work to get her to a safe weight and body condition.

The Drumheller & District Humane Society receives no government/city funding to operate. All adoption fees are directly used for the animals in our care.
Our fees cover the some of the costs of very basic vet care for our animals. The remainder and any additional vet care, food, toys, and other items required to care for these animals are covered by our fundraising efforts and the support of our generous community.
All our animals are examined by an RVT or DVM, receive age appropriate core vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.

Dog viewing and adoptions are by appointment only.
Before an appointment can be booked, a completed adoption application needs to be received. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
Applications are reviewed by our Adoption Committee and are not approved on the same day they are submitted. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Each application requires careful review, including reference checks, and processing times can vary depending on availability and response times.
Once your application is approved, arrangements will be made to book an appointment to meet the dogs in our care.
